Really liked that Nascosta slid the minotaur in the beginning there， just in case the mothman wasn't good enough of a pull。 lol I really liked Sweet Berries as a continuation of this world the author has created。 Also really nice to see Nascosta spreading her wings， pardon the pun， by having a very different relationship as they have in Milking Farm and the Girls Weekend Series。 Not that the couples in any of those are all the same， but I did feel like there were a lot of similarities。 But with Really liked that Nascosta slid the minotaur in the beginning there， just in case the mothman wasn't good enough of a pull。 lol I really liked Sweet Berries as a continuation of this world the author has created。 Also really nice to see Nascosta spreading her wings， pardon the pun， by having a very different relationship as they have in Milking Farm and the Girls Weekend Series。 Not that the couples in any of those are all the same， but I did feel like there were a lot of similarities。 But with Sweet Berries， Nascosta breaks it by having a nerdy， awkward， introverted mothboy。 I just want to eat him up， he's so cute。 （view spoiler）[ When he approaches Grace on the farm to admit he's the one who was watching her？？？ （hide spoiler）] Gods help me， nervous boys are my kryptonite。 Speaking of， I was happy about how the author treated voyeurism in this book。 It would have been easy to fall into the same lines that exist in so much other media of the man spying on the woman， implying that her existence is meant to be consumed by him。 Nascosta subverts this about as well as one can， by making it clear from the beginning that they both know。 I am more than satisfied。 Once again， the author has really knocked it out of the park with this one。 Also this is kinda weird but I really like the cover？？ It's so pretty！ I would have a print of this。 The font change is A+。 My best friend apparently only glanced at the cover and was like "Is she reading a *normal* romance novel？？？" but surprise。。。 he's a mothman。 10/10 can't wait for more 。。。more

Gosh I love CM Nascosta。 Full disclosure we've been mutuals on IG probably since 2020 and I'm on her Patreon。 But I would be straight up if I didn't enjoy this book and GODS， I enjoyed it so much。 CMN is one of my queens of monster romance。 Ruby Dixon is my alien queen。 Finley Fenn is my dark orc queen。 CMN and Lillian Lark are my monster queens - the ones who write about everything from an orc to a shifter to a demon to a mothman。 I remember this story when it was on Tumblr and it works so well Gosh I love CM Nascosta。 Full disclosure we've been mutuals on IG probably since 2020 and I'm on her Patreon。 But I would be straight up if I didn't enjoy this book and GODS， I enjoyed it so much。 CMN is one of my queens of monster romance。 Ruby Dixon is my alien queen。 Finley Fenn is my dark orc queen。 CMN and Lillian Lark are my monster queens - the ones who write about everything from an orc to a shifter to a demon to a mothman。 I remember this story when it was on Tumblr and it works so well as a full length story， somewhere between a long novella and a short novel。 I loved the way it was split up too: part 1， 2， 3， and HEA。 It was。。。 really hot。 Between the up front sexuality of the heroine， the voyeurism （both in part by the hero and the heroine fantasizing about getting a train run on her in her front lawn）， and the fascinating mothman genitalia specials。。。 this was maybe her sexiest book？？ And book 1 in Cambric Creek took place in a GD minotaur milking farm。 There were a lot of little things that made my heart ache。 The heroine recounting the abuse from her previous marriage （"five years of what she was able to recognize now as emotional abuse - of complaints and gaslighting and tiny insults， like microscopic shards of glass beneath her skin， chafing until she bled， an interior wound that never healed， scraping her raw。"） and the fact that Merrick， the mothman hero， is so not used to being。。。 included。 He's worked for years in cities and labs run by humans where he was othered and left out， down to being forced to wear a human labcoat backwards instead of being offered an adaptive one。 It just broke my ding dang heart。 On one hand I would have liked to have seen more of Merrick being included， of realizing that he deserves to have a place and feel like he belongs。。。 but on the other hand I was kind of glad they didn't dwell and just let him embrace his new life in Cambric Creek。There were so many funny bits。She was excited to go back to his place， she decided。 He's adorable and awkward， and if books and moves have taught us nothing else， it's always the cute nerdy guys who loves to eat pussy。+If this was what all mothmen could do， someone needed to alert the media， alert congress！ This needed to be the headline of every newspaper， the only story talked about on the news。 Hot single mothmen with Dyson-strength tongues and vibrating dicks are in a neighborhood near you！ + "Gosh， that's too bad。 Fuck Night is on this week's calendar， and now you're planning on dying here in front of the onions。" A series of outraged clicks accompanied his huff as she turned away， not bothering to hide her smile。 Also， so many sweet parts。 Minor spoiler below for vows of love but。。。 c'mon， you know there were gonna be vows of love。"Say that again。" He advanced on her slowly， pulling her into his arms。"Say-which part， I said a lot of stuff。"His laugh was a low rumble of thunder， a vibration she felt rippling through her。"The part where you said you fell in love with me。""It was an accident，" she whispered。 "I wasn't looking for a relationship。 I knew you weren't going to be here long and I-I didn't mean for it to happen。 But you're just too damn fluffy to resist。"He smoothed the halo of frizz back off her face， tilting her chin with a velutinous hand。 "That's okay。 I fell in love with you very intentionally。 That makes up for it， I think。" 。。。more

I’m going to say something that I have never said before （mostly because I don’t know that I can pull this off but when it must be said it must be said…）GGGIIIIRRRRLLLLL！！！！ This book is amazing！ Where did this author come from？！？ I mean， I read the first book （Morning Glory Milking Farm） mostly on a lark （I’m sorry， I don’t mean to be mean when I say that， but the title alone made me hesitate just a bit）， but I was so pleasantly surprised that I became an instant devotee of this author - she is I’m going to say something that I have never said before （mostly because I don’t know that I can pull this off but when it must be said it must be said…）GGGIIIIRRRRLLLLL！！！！ This book is amazing！ Where did this author come from？！？ I mean， I read the first book （Morning Glory Milking Farm） mostly on a lark （I’m sorry， I don’t mean to be mean when I say that， but the title alone made me hesitate just a bit）， but I was so pleasantly surprised that I became an instant devotee of this author - she is a “one-click purchase” for me now because I know that anything she writes I’m going to love。I wish she had more of a backlist， seriously！ This book was so very sweet and spicy - it gave me all the feels。 （Perfect for summer reading or just when you need a warm hug - sorry Olaf， a different kind。 :） ） For anyone who hasn’t， please give this author and these amazing books a try！ I’m telling you， they are fantastic！ 。。。more

I don't know what to think about this book。 I really enjoyed Morning Glory Milking Farm so maybe I went into this read with expectations that were too high？While we didn't get Merrick's POV， I enjoyed learning about him through Grace's eyes。 He's a quieter， academic mothman who can be awkward at times and arrogant at others。 The setting of the farm and food makes the book really sweet。 And like the first book， there are little worldbuilding details that make the world so full， from how clothing I don't know what to think about this book。 I really enjoyed Morning Glory Milking Farm so maybe I went into this read with expectations that were too high？While we didn't get Merrick's POV， I enjoyed learning about him through Grace's eyes。 He's a quieter， academic mothman who can be awkward at times and arrogant at others。 The setting of the farm and food makes the book really sweet。 And like the first book， there are little worldbuilding details that make the world so full， from how clothing is adapted to fit different species to discussions about inter-species politics。Unfortunately， this book was a slog to get through， which I really wasn't expecting after the first book。 It could be because there's not a lot of tension in this book， internal or external。 The plot feels quite minimal which is great if you're just looking for a fluffy read but I personally was hoping for more meat to the story。 But it's not that the book is more heavy on the character development either， because I didn't feel either character was deeply developed。 It was an alright book but I probably wouldn't have continued with the Cambric Creek series if I read this before Morning Glory Milking Farm。This is a single POV book （Grace's POV only） that's quite steamy。 Grace references her ex-husband who was emotionally abusive but it isn't discussed in much detail。 For more of my reviews， please visit my blog。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 I think C。M。 Nascosta’s Cambrick Creek （as well as the related towns and cities） is my favorite universe for paranormal romance。 Morning Glory Milking Farm （Cambric Creek #1） was a joy， and this book was an exceptionally pleasant and sweet next chapter for the town。 LIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD:I loved that there was absolutely no angst in this book， other than what the FMC was working through internally。 Grace got out of a bad marriage， found a job that suited her skills （even if the farm owner wasn’t I think C。M。 Nascosta’s Cambrick Creek （as well as the related towns and cities） is my favorite universe for paranormal romance。 Morning Glory Milking Farm （Cambric Creek #1） was a joy， and this book was an exceptionally pleasant and sweet next chapter for the town。 LIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD:I loved that there was absolutely no angst in this book， other than what the FMC was working through internally。 Grace got out of a bad marriage， found a job that suited her skills （even if the farm owner wasn’t entirely sure about it at the time）， and moved to a community where she was able to put down roots and really feel like she belonged。 The only thing missing was a little bit of fun that involves another participant， or， in some cases， just an observer。 The MMC is revealed slowly and it’s super cute， very endearing process。 I’m not going to say too much about him， other than that he’s entirely a delight to get to know and get to _know_。I found Grace’s concerns to be understandable and valid and enjoyed watching her sort through her own shit without actively putting it on her partner。 If you need a good， fun， sweet， and spicy read， look no further。 Notes on Kindle edition: some formatting issues， some word choice and spelling errors， but not enough to detract from the plot or to confuse。 I wish they hadn’t been there， but it’s not going to stop me from re-reading this or demanding that any of my monster loving friends read this immediately。 。。。more
